Job Location: Head Office-HQ and Zonal Offices
Reports to: Head of Finance & Administration Department
Application deadline: 20th April, 2024

Main Responsibilities:
• Developing budgets and financial plans and monitoring all expenditures against set budget
• Managing and updating transaction including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Processing cheque. deposit and withdrawal transactions and periodic bank reconciliation
• Processing inter-bank money transfers and foreign currency exchange transactions
• Verifying invoices from vendors, preparing vendors payments and booking of receivables
• Ensuring the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws and regulations
• Preparing and filing tax returns e.g., Value Added Tax (VAT) and With Holding Taxs
• Preparing monthly payroll and filing statutory payments (PAYE, SDL, NSSF and WCF)
• Preparing financial statements e.g., Balance Sheets, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statements
• Filing and maintaining copies of all invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and bank slips
• Managing petty cash payments, income, reconciliation and verification of petty cash claims


Knowledge and Skills:
• Conversant with our Company’s history
• Ability to deal professionally, confidently, and effectively with Company clients at all levels, internally and externally
• Ability to adopt to our Company’s Core Values and Culture
• A comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian real estate industry
• Detailed knowledge of consumer buying behavior, marketing techniques and evolving dynamics
• A good understanding of legislations related to Valuation practices and channel delivery
• Communication skills both written and oral
• Standard Computer skills
• Good interpersonal and networking skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to explain and handle complex information clearly and simply

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor Degree level in in Accounting, Finance or related field for Accountant II or Diploma level in Accounting, Finance or related field for Assistant Accountant from a recognized training institution
• A minimum of 1 year of working experience
